Just completed week 3 done the last 2 runs yesterday and today which I combined with going to my local shops for fruit and then the bakers for a couple of sausage rolls and 2 chocolate eclairs for myself and the misses, there still has to be a balance right? Looking forward to week 4 may start it on Thursday

Well done, but we do not recommend that new runners run on consecutive days until they have the very least of six months of regular running on their legs.
When you run, unlike other exercise, the impact creates microtears in your muscles, which repair and strengthen on your rest days, not while running. Without rest, repair and strengthening are compromised and injury risk increased.
You get away with it until you don't............and then it can be days, weeks, or months of no running at all.
Please take your rest days.
Ouch that don’t sound good, I will now have rest days 😊

Hmmm... as above, not good.
I get it, I really do... but these rest days are very important. Maybe install the Active 10 app and brisk walk that trip to the shops next time you’re feeling the need on rest day. It’s good cardio and low impact.
Stay safe (in all ways) and you’ll be a better runner by the end of it.
Please, please, please keep your rest days!
Having been on the injury couch for a long stretch, I know what a frustrating place it is to be sitting when all you want to do is run.
Enjoy week 4 😊
