Sorry guys, my first fail! Nothing is wasted I guess, but I was very disappointed with myself. I found a circular path of about 1km, and got round it twice, maybe 14 - 15 minutes of running, but I had nothing to give today. Breathing did not feel good, and my legs were heavy.. Somehow knew from the outset that something was not happening and then I found myself walking. I did try to start again, but only halfheartedly.
Maybe tomorrow or Sunday. I felt very hot too, and have some cold symptoms, achy legs, painful sinuses. I don't think its corona (this town has four cases and everything is closed now for a while). Time will tell. I was very stressed when I started today, but I dont think it was totally that. I just hope that I can try again, and overcome the mental attitude that everything has suddenly become harder!
This is what happens when you preempt success by ordering a graduation T shirt, which I won't get just yet because I sent it to a friend in the UK.
Thanks for all your support

Cancellation that's not so bad, just pick another day and lace up again 👍
Well of course you are miffed as you were looking forward to going for your run and then no you can't due to circumstances beyond your control as you can't control when you are ill or not.
Fail? What is this fail? Me no understand! Seriously, there’s no such thing here - put incomplete runs down to experience and chalk them up as a practice - no need to apologise! We all have days when things don’t go to plan and it sounds as though you’ve had a doozey! But we’ll be with you next time out when I’m sure things will be better - don’t write off that t-shirt just yet! I hope you feel a bit better soon - good luck with the rest of the plan, there isn’t far to go now!
Just put it down as a practice run, which all, adds,to the stamina building. It sounds like your unwell anyway, so it’s understandable. Make sure you take care of yourself and make sure you’re well before having another go 🙂
Yeah. I think I am. It has be quite bad for me to even notice, since the background chatter in my head is so dominant all the time. I was a bit shocked actually.. I dont think its the C word, if it is then I might be in trouble. Well, we all might be. However, i will try again Sunday. Thank you Wenderwoo
