First 5K race

Hey lovely people,

I’ve been remiss in updating here about my progress. I graduated on 8th Feb with an underwhelming and tough final run in the rain with storm Dennis..

A month later I did my first 5K race, and came in with a time of 29:47. Was determined to do it sub 30 mins, and I managed it - just! Very chuffed! Though ridiculously nervous and anxious before the race.

It was fine though, despite the volume of people being a bit tricky to navigate, especially at the beginning.

Massive credit must go to the C25K programme, where this ‘journey’ started, and to this supportive and friendly community..😊❤️

Congratulations on running your first 5K race in a sub 30 minute time of 29.47, many people who have ran more than a 100. 5K's have not achieved that time, well done.. 😊 🏃🏾
