Week 8 was uneventful, did work out when I run i keep my neck rigid, which has left me with a painful neck and shoulders, now relaxing it more and moving it about every now and again. Found it tough, especially the last 5 minutes, but sped up the first 20 odd minutes on run 2 &3.

Started w9 last night, had a rubbish day and was not looking forward to it, but do it i did, went back to my usual speed for the first run, and caught myself clock watching, but that actually helped me this time, watching each 10 minute and 5 minute stint run down, i knew when i got to 28 minutes it was in the bag, i knew i could do the full 30.

Overjoyed to have done it, to see the progress and results in such a short time is amazing, I feel ready to tackle anything now (not the running yet though), i have a new found believe and a determination to succeed.

2 more runs to graduation and i can have a rest (gonna take a two day break).

But I have got on the ladder to a healthier and fitter me, extending my life expectancy will be a great reward. Though if anybody can find that belly fat i have lost, could they return it to me?
