Week 9 run 1 done....

Nearly there. Not quite up to 5k tho. Managed about 4.5 including the before and after walks.

Not sure if I should speed up or keep going at the pace until I hit 5k. Feel I could keep going but not sure about speeding up.

Anyway that's something to think about once I graduate..!!

Just run at your own pace, it’s about building up the miles rather than worrying about speed. You don’t want to end up injuring yourself by going to fast. My current 5k time is 38 mins and I’m now working on building up my speed as I can now run 5k. Good luck with your next run.

Don't push yourself too much yet, we are fitter now than we have been but we are still letting our bodies adjust to what we are doing, I feel like I am one wrong move away from injury, lets get to graduation together then go from there shall we?

i felt like i could have gone further last night, I went a few second over then cooled down, have sped my cool down up a bit then slow that down nearer the end, i want to feel the muscles working, at my old speed i couldn't so have graduated the cool down (any experts on whether that is ok or not ? advise welcome).

Enjoy the last two runs, we are nearly there.

Stay exactly as you are... it is perfect... speed, distance and everything else will evolve later:) Well done you!
