running with atrial flutter

hello, i am a newbie with Atrial flutter, and want to know what exercise i can do. I have been running for years now as i love it, but wondering if there is a limit to what i should do. I wear a Fitbit and have noticed that it gives me "fat burning," cardio" and "peak" heart rate, when i am running, which was a bit scary when i saw it. I want to know what happens at "peak". I stopped and brought it down, but now i dont know if i can still run. Can anyone help please?

I think the best thing you can do is have a word with your GP/ consultant or Nurse, they will be best placed to give you advice specific to you. I have heart rate issues and have found that they are really great at giving you the advice you need to carry on. Rfc x

We are not doctors and so cannot comment on what you can do with any medical conditions, but your doctor/consultant will be able to.

“Fat burning” is misleading, all running is fat burning. The cardio and peak rates will probably burn more fat per minute than the so called fat burning zone. Likewise, take all those zones with a big pinch of salt. After seeing a medical professional and being cleared to run, they may give you a maximum heart rate for you, in which case the settings on your Fitbit will need changing and those zones will all change. active.com/triathlon/articl...

See your GP.

We may know about running but we don't, for the most part, know about atrial flutter.

The zones on your Fitbit are based on averages........you may not be average.

Enjoy your journey.
