"Can I offer you a lift dear?" Hilarious 🤣 w5r2/3🍀

Well that was a first!!

There I was, in the last minute of my warm-up walk, when a lovely old lady pulled up alongside me in her car and asked if I'd like a lift to the end of the lane??!! Bless her. I thanked her and explained I was about to start running and she smiled, said "Very good dear!" and that she thought I'd looked in a bit of a rush. She wished me luck and waved me on my way.

I love the unexpected things that happen on a run! It kept me amused for the two long 8 minute runs 😊🏃‍♀️🤣. W5r2 ✅

Later on in my run I noticed a very serious (all the kit) lady runner coming towards me and she’d clearly been out a while as she had a hydration rucksack thing. I’d just slowed to my walk section as she ran by, but she gave me a big hello and a smile.

I thought, she was once like me....

I dream of being like her......
