Depends what you are doing? if it’s walking or running it could be your shoes, a gait analysis at a running shop can be a good idea

It could be your shoes. Other things might be reaching forward and striking the ground with your heel, sending stress up your shins; not doing enough warm up stretches; running too fast, or needing to strengthen the muscles around the knee. Have a look over on the strength and flex forum or the nhs website. 👍

Number of things it could be: with me it was footwear. But do you mean ANY exercise or only high impact exercise like running?
