Well, it was a challenge. I found the first 10 minutes the hardest, and weirdly found that at the end of the 20, I could have just kept going. I resisted though, as I want to follow the plan - it has served me so well up to now.
I remembered to take my inhaler before the run this time, so no breathing problems - I even said a few comments to myself whilst running (like a loon) just to be sure I was at a conversational pace. (I don't think I could have maintained a seriously long monologue, but I could have held my own in a std conversation)
Legs are feeling it a little afterwards - I am 3 hours after the event, and I just want to keep walking around at the moment to make sure they do not seize up.
I know it is not important, being couch to 30minutes, not couch to 5k, but it is quite surprising just how consistent my distances have been over the 5 weeks.... During this course, up to now, I am managing around 4.2km in a set... every time I go out, regardless of how much I am running against how long I am walking.. As the runs get longer, the pace drops a little to keep it possible...interesting, but irrelevant I guess
