Hi - New to the site!

I have in recent years suffered with Plantar Fasciitis in both feet, having resulted in having steroid injections in right foot some years ago. My left foot has started with symptoms but still began the Couch to 5k, in week 2 now. Do use a golf ball to massage and do stretches from past experience but looking for further advise as want to keep running 🙃

Hello! Im no medical expert by any means - my husband suffered terrible with it for a few years, he found a company that did gait tests and made up bespoke insoles that helped. He was also having hip trouble, do you get advise from a back person? Sounds daft but sometimes tension higher up can hurt lower down! Good luck with your feet and running :)

I do have back trouble but don’t see anyone....makes sense though! Maybe it’s time I did. Thanks

Did you ever get given physio’ exercises? When my daughter had it, she had to stand on the bottom step and do heel raises. I wouldn’t want to recommend anything though as not qualified. They may have exercises on the NHS website, if you haven’t already checked.

Best of luck with it all!

Thanks no, just saw the GP who did the injection and did indeed give me a couple of exercises which have defo kept it at bay!
