Cold hips?🥴

Happy running New year to everyone.

Did a run on New year's day and boy was it cold. Got into my old hip joints and never felt warm all the way. Painful as well, took 3 days to get over it.

Any tips on how to keep my joints warm, thinking of the gym but I love running outside.

Make sure you warm up first, get your muscles warm ready to go. Don’t just go straight into a run as it is harder. This works for me. Stretch legs arms then you do your 5 mins build up.

I’d warmed up at home but we drove to Dunham Massey (about 5 minutes away)and normally I do a brisk 5 minutes walk to warm up but I was getting colder and colder. 🥶So started running .

I’ve got some thermal leggings from Decathlon. Great in the colder weather. Would definitely recommend x
