Finished C25K a couple months ago...

Hi everyone - still smiling. I used C25K to get started and it definitely got me. I love jogging now. I'm 60 years young and this is the first time I've stuck with something like this since I was a kid! I now try to jog for 30-45 minutes 3-4 times a week and my body and mind are thanking me for it. I realised though that I needed to do some strength training - I was already doing some Yoga after the run, but now I'm doing some body weight training on non jog days and it's working. I'm feeling fitter than ever. If I can do this anyone can Good luck all!

Well done MightyMax! It’s interesting how many of us are discovering 🏃‍♀️ 🏃‍♂️ later in life & loving it, even if we have never run before. What a gift 🎁 Cto5K has been to us!

I have to agree with you both. I think C25K is an amazing plan but is it only us 'more experienced' people who do it or do the younger generations just not post here? Although I think it's great that we're getting out there and getting fit I'd like to think we could encourage participation across the whole age spectrum.

I think the younger ones post on other social media sites but plenty of them doing it!
