I am looking to do some kind of running but unsure what would be best for me as I have fibromyalgia spondylitis ibs depression and anxiety low vitamin d deficiency irritable leg syndrome and bladder problems. I have just finished the oneyou course up at my local leisure centre in Gainsborough the last time I did any running was when I was about 11 so im looking for some help and advice on how to go about this and if there is any advice anyone could give me i would be more than grateful

You have come to the right place if you have thoughts of running as the NHS/One You 'Couch to 5k' programme is very accessible. I don't know enough about spondylitis (and obviously nothing about *your* spondylitis) so that might be something you'd need to check out with someone who has your notes in front of them - unless you've already had the go ahead. But based on the experience of many here with similar issues, following the programme is not only achievable but has the potential to help many of your specific conditions.

It's really just a matter of getting the podcasts or the app onto some sort of device to have with you (people have just used timers but you don't get the real time coaching then), putting something better than stilettos or wellies on your feet and getting out there! Other refinements can follow. Sounds as though you live somewhere flat which is handy. Given all the issues you have listed, if you can choose a more forgiving surface than pavements and tarmac, that would be ideal.

I'd suggest your next stop would be to read the FAQ in the pinned posts which has loads of useful information.
