I graduated about a month ago and then had 3 weeks off due to travel and illness. Got back onto it last Monday and really struggled to run for 30 minutes even though I slowed down to almost a shuffle! Today, I did my 3rd run and was back up to speed and feel great. It’s amazing how quickly you lose form but then, also, how quickly you can regain it with perseverance and determination!! Roll on Monday!

Well done.
I suspect that you probably were not fully recovered on the tricky run.
