W6R2 - getting fitter

W6R2 is 2x10mins and I was able to do it all at an easy pace (except my usual go-for-it minute at the end of the session). Yesterday I did some weights at the gym including leg presses and I must say I could feel I’d done some work, but not enough to worry me. Despite running for 20/23 minutes my overall heart rate was comparable to the first sessions in week 1.

So the numbers tell me the programme is working!

Sad note that I witnessed a cyclist run over the leg of one of the waterfowl - poor thing was being attacked by other birds when I came back past so I’m just about to ring the canal trust.

I made a few calls but RSPCA said they will only take reports of wildlife injuries at the time you can actually see the animal. Sadly by then I was some kms away, hopefully someone else will have called it in :(
