Have "Graduated"

Hello there,

Have not messaged on here for ages owning to various problems. But I have kept plodding on and last week I "graduated" and am now up to running for 40mins. Cannot believe it, do feel proud of myself.

So I encourage everyone to keep going you can do this , and you will feel so good.

But I do need some advice is there a free app or website to help continue with the running , to clock your miles and calories?

My next milestone is to do my local park run, thought I might volunteer as a steward for a few weeks till I feel confident to tackle a run with lots of other people as I always run on my own.

I find it so amazing when out how friendly people are, other runners wave or shout something encouraging and have made a lovely dear friend . We enjoy having a coffee together and putting the world to rights.!!! plus people walking their dogs are brilliant.

Also I have a stressful job and unfortunately personal problems and I find running helps me forget all these problems . Also am due to see Doctor soon, maybe it might have helped my blood pressure and finally has definitely made a big difference to my Slimming world the weight is coming off !!!

Good luck to all on Couch to 5kand Graduates xxx

Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.

This guide to post C25K running may be helpful healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on extending your runs.......... don't do too much too soon.

If you want a graduate badge, just say!

Keep running, keep smiling.

Congratulations, Thumblina - lovely post! Your park run strategy sounds an excellent idea. Thinking of doing the same thing.

Happy running!

Hi, well done and I use Map My Run as it syncs with My Fitness Pal. Although I expect Straba syncs with whatever other apps you might be using too... Keep up the good work!
