Gait analysis

Hi, I am about to start W3R1 tomorrow and from has been written here, a gait analysis and properly fitting shoes may go some way to relieve the pain in my left calf. This pain is almost enough to stop me running, feeling like the muscles is being twisted and stretched. Does anyone in Norfolk have any opinions regarding Intersports in Jarrold in the city or Sportlink in Taverham? These seem to be the only places in the county that perform Gait Analysis.

I don't know about Norfolk, but I can say that gait analysis got rid of the knee pain I had been experiencing around week 3. Good luck!

Hi - I have been to both. I think taverham has the edge. The gait analysis is done barefoot. I purchased trainers from them so I am not sure if I would have been charged for gait analysis had I not. There is also a sports physio working from there who may have some answers re your calf muscle. I certainly found them all very knowledgeable and friendly.
