Thursdays run

I'm still in Dubai, flying back tomorrow and then back out here on Sunday, as per my last post it's too hot to run outside here, my walk back from the office was in 98 degrees, obviously F and not C!

I started writing a document, which is the whole point of me being out here but couldn't concentrate, my mind kept drifting off into running, as you can tell from my previous posts, I normally run in the mornings but the customer likes to start work at 8, I have a 1.5 walk to the office (I prefer walking to a taxi) and it would be too much of a rush to run, shower, eat, walk to the office all before 8am.

I got my running gear on, I can't believe I'm saying this, wearing my treadmill running shoes, yes I now have 2 pairs, one indoors and out for roads/light trail, and headed down to the gym.

After Tuesdays run, which was a very hard run as I'm certain I wasn't hydrating enough, today was much better, same pace as Tuesday but I held it all the way through the run.

There wasn't smoke or anything coming from the treadmill, I wasn't going that fast, a little above my slow speed.

Another 30 minute run under the belt, hopefully its running outside on Saturday.

I've been checked in for the flight back since yesterday, I get comments saying my job must be so goods cause I get to travel and I'm staying in nice hotels, etc, truth is, I hate the travelling part of it.

The driving is ok, it's the airports, flights and hotels part I hate.

I get very grumpy and irritable if I don't run. First thing in the case is running kit, then wash bag, then clothes.
