Just downloaded the couch to 5k after watching the great North run. I have barely done any exercise for years, time to get motivated and this seemed like the perfect start. Wish me luck 🤞 😊

Hello Kath. I’ve just done the same. I’ve been for a brisk walk (3000 steps in 30 minutes) which made me puff. Fortunately it was all on the level. Don’t know when I can start to run as I’m recovering from a fractured spine, but I’m jolly well going to get out there now.

Welcome to C25K Pollyanna85 and Kath 123, just take all the runs slowly, the training course lasts 9 weeks but you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish, good luck to both of you.

Make sure you follow the programme taking as many rest days as you need, stay hydrated and repeat any runs/weeks if you feel you need to - it’s your journey/adventure and no shame in doing so 🤗 x
