Park runs have hills!

Park runs have hills, but I was training on a flat route, so when it came to the Park runs I was knackered!

This morning, I knew I had to bust the 30 mins run, I have tried to vary my route since graduating, however without Michael and my music, it was to easy to see a hill and walk. Well today I ran for 35 mins, was tackling, a bit of up hill, twice. So I did 5 k , which i’m Pleased about. I invested in Bluetooth earphones, it all worked well,( apart from being out of WiFi on one bit). So Thursday, I will do more hills. Ready to tackle the Park Run on Saturday. Bring it on.

Oh wow! I need to start on hills too before I attempt our Parkrun. The last 1k of it is nicknamed cardiac hill!

The hill bit was my undoing on my first parkrun in January. Hills were a daft idea. ⛰🙁
