Week 8 Run 3 completed.

Ran the allocated 28 mins for runs 1&2 earlier in the week, and this mornings Parkrun was run 3.

Covered the 5k this morning in 30.50, so slightly quicker than last weeks parkrun (but harder work too!).

So, graduation week is upon me. In some ways it feels so long ago that I was looking at the intervals on the app (and inwardly wondering about my ability to run for five minutes without stopping), but in some respects it feels like yesterday.

That’s the wonderful thing about the program and the forum. The program carries you along at a perfect pace, such that the increased times, although often dreaded before the fact, are set at a level that is not Herculean.

In retrospect all of the increases have felt completely manageable and smooth transitions.

The forum is wonderful to sound out others on woes and niggles, and boost confidence in moments of self doubt.

All in all it’s been a thoroughly enjoyable and a massively rewarding experience.

I have a feeling I am going to enjoy the last week (although not one of the runs so far has felt like a chore), and am looking forward to graduating, all being well in a weeks time.

Thanks again for all the support on here. Have a great weeks running!

Good run for you today, great time as well, good chance you will get a sub 30 minute 5k for your graduation run, however, what's more important is that you run for 30 minutes whether it's sub or + 30 minutes.
