Thought you’d like to see the nice T-shirt we all got as finishers yesterday (also got a British Athletics navy string sports bag!)

That’s really nice. And a lovely way to mark the journey you have been on. You can wear it with pride at parkrun or any other 5K events.

I’ll wear it to my next parkrun! I’ve done 15 now, mainly at Bushy Park as it’s my local one. Amazing atmosphere yes!

That’s great 15 parkruns 🙏😀😉 I’ve only done 3 but it’s a hard course very hilly 3 laps which goes into the woods the last lap my legs don’t like the hills but I’m spicing it up I’m going to do another park on Saturday as if you do the same all the time I think it can get repetitive my best time officially is 32:02 unofficial at Heaton park race for life 28:22 but is a easier park to run at 😉

Bushy is lovely and flat 😊

I’ve done a couple of really hilly ones too though - not my favourite 🙄

No not everyone’s favourite but good for endurance 😉

That’s great, and you can continue to promote c25k every time you wear it. You might have a few people stopping you to ask questions though.

I hope they do! I feel I d been pretty evangelical about C25k already and got quite a few of my friends to start it too 😊🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

That’s great and then they’ll talk to people. Soon the whole country will be running.

Nice T-shirt, you must wear that now at all the 5K runs you compete in, including Parkruns unless you have a separate T Shirt for a park run. When I ran my first park run there were several people wearing the 'Vitality 5K Parkrun' T-shirt.

I do have the peach coloured vitality Parkrun T-shirt already, personalised with Bushy Park on it. I do normally wear that at all parkruns but will definitely wear the C25k T-shirt on other runs. 😊

👍 🏃 Thanks for your reply 😊I may buy a peach coloured Vitality 5K T shirt after I run a few parkruns, I would get them to personal mine to Dunfermline, that's in Fife Scotland, I did see a few at my first parkrun recently. 😊

They’re quite pricy but are really good quality and very comfortable! It probably my favourite running top. I wore it at a parkrun in Worcester last week and it immediately sparks interest with the Marshall shouting “come on Bushy!” As I ran past! Whilst at Worcester I spotted someone wearing a “Portobello” Parkrun top, so went over to chat to him as I’m running at that one (Edinburgh) in a few weeks time when we’re up for the fringe festival!

I visit Edinburgh twice a year, the first time is during the Edinburgh Festival when I walk around soaking in the Fringe Festival atmosphere, including a walk down the Royal Mile with all the free shows going on and getting all those leaflets for various fringe events handed to me, fantastic experience, the second time I visit Edinburgh is just before Christmas when I like to walk around the Edinburgh Christmas Market.

Our son is just finishing his masters there, so we’ve been making the most of him being there this year. This will be my 4th visit since September. We’ll be seeing a fair few shows during the fringe, then packing most of his room and leaving with some extra baggage on our return flight - he’ll have to make do with the bare minimum for the remaining couple of weeks so he can get it all into his final flight home!
