So on friday while out for a run I twisted my ankle slightly, it felt fine at the time and carried on. yesterday it was feeling alittle sore and swollen. Not overly painful but i was aware of it. I was going to go for a run today but Its still alittle sore and I have an interview tomorrow which is over an hours drive each way so thought best not to run today just incase. Is this the right thing to do or am I just making excuses? It's just constantly achey

No, you are doing absolutely the right thing and listening to your body! Don't try to run on a sprained ankle until you are walking pain free again. If in doubt do get medical advice but hopefully it will settle in a few days. Good luck with your interview!🙂👍
