Went out for my first consolidation run since graduating last week. Been struggling with a pain like sciatica for a few days so really stretched before going out. Decided I was going to get to 5k but not focus on the time at all. My hubby decided to join me and we enjoyed a nice run together. He is far fitter than I am but he stuck at my pace. I get really nervous before I start a run but don’t know why. Possibly put pressure on myself but think my fall a few weeks ago is still bothering me and feel anxious. Anyway, I had a lovely run along the sea front. It was still very warm and muggy but I did it and got to 5k!!

It must be lovely to run by the sea! I get sciatica, and find running helps, the last bout a week or so ago went in a couple of days and I do think exercise helps! Never thought I’d say exercise makes pain go away but I do think it helps! Well done on doing 5k!
