If you come from England, fish and chips, USA. An Apple Pie, France. Boeuf Bourguignon, Germany, a Hamburger or sausage or where I come in Scotland, Irn Bru with a Mars Bar, as long as its after a workout, you will love anything, I personally like a cake and a cup of coffee. 😊

To be honest with you Tbae I don't really like haggis, too nippy for my likening, I hope you are keeping well.

I am looking forward to my first Parkrun this Saturday, I'll be running it in Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline, apparently, it's their 4th parkrun anniversary, I ran a test run on the exact course last Friday in around 38 minutes, not sure if I will be any quicker surrounded by others on Saturday morning, I know this park very well indeed, I have been going walks around it for many years, in fact more years than the parkrun itself has been on for.

Dunfermline is 26 miles away from where I live, easy to get to by bus, I will report back to everyone here on C25K once I have my official result, apparently they send an e-mail to you, I will not have my Smartphone with me, so no Mapmyrun or that metronome app that I had with me last Friday.

Keep well.

Alan

Hi LL32,

Mapmyrun have just posted yesterday food for runners.

Have not read the article, but it promotes the Mediterranean Diet.

A little of what you like never harmed anyone.🤔🤣

Chocolate milk is the best post-run fuel for runners as it contains everything we need. I make my own with milk (whatever type you want) two teaspoons of really good quality cocoa and a touch of whatever you fancy like nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, etc. Whizz it all up and drink! It’s delicious 😋
