Some advice please started the C25k 3 weeks now and I have terrible knee pain below my knee cap believe it is called “runners knee”

Can I keep training with this ?

I elevate my leg and use a ice pack after my training is there anything that will take the pain away please?

Thank you

If you have pain take a few rest days, then try some knee supports. I used them for 2 weeks then never had any bother again

Sorry to hear about this. I’m linking the runners world guide to the knee here runnersworld.com/uk/health/...

The answer to can you keep running isn’t really something we can tell you... if the pain persists then no, and if it still persists a medical opinion would be needed.

The guide also includes tips to prevent injuries which will be useful to build strength into that joint... and other parts of you that can affect the knee.
