Have just completed run 2 and found hard at the start. Heavy legs and feeling tired throughout the first 10 minute run. No significant leg pains though. Second 10 minute run was easier but I was still more than happy to stop! Lol looking forward to Friday.

The first 10 minutes are the worst, lol, while your body adjusts to the new requirements. Also known as the toxic 10. Just push through and the rest should get easier.

Are you drinking enough water - 3 to 4 litres every day....and slow the pace right down...those gremlins will disappear and it will get better !

Yep still drinking loads everyday and doing pre and post run stretches. The pain while running stopped during week 5. Just felt like hard work today but was OK on the second run. I didn't feel very motivated before today's run so I think it was a mental block? I resisted the urge to stop as I know it gets better if I keep going. Still really enjoying too.
