Can anyone pass us a few tips or ideas, me and my daughter have set ourselves the challenge of doing our local half marathon in 12 months. Technically were couch to half marathon rather than to 5k. Our plan is couch to 5km then 5k to 10k before 10k to half marathon. Has anyone got any tips or ideas we can add in. We've found races were going to enter along the way to motivate us and track our progress.

Couch to 5k, 10k, 10 miles, half marathon, 20 miles and finally marathon. If you want to go through all those runs, good luck. 👍 🏃 😊

I say go for it! But don't push too far or too fast, don't skip any steps.

Wishing you huge luck with your aims!

There are forums for 5-10k and for half marathons. They might have some tips for you
