Thanks to Laura’s reminder that I had done the training for this, a switch of music and new running shorts with pockets, I ran for 20 minutes and I’m proud of myself. The one odd thing is that Strava says I used 28,636 calories. Something is clearly wrong with that!

Great running. Slow and steady into week 6 and you got this.

I wish we could burn 28k calories in 20 minutes... could you imagine the feast to replace that? 🤣. I’d normally check the weight setting in Strava, buts it’s so far out I guess it’s just a glitch.

28,636 calories, perhaps running the Sahara Desert Death Ultra Marathon but not run 3 of week 5 of C25K.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran, more like 286 calories. 😊

Brilliant stuff, well done you! Bet you feel amazing now. The calories thing, have you set it to show calories rather than kilo calories? Confusingly, kcals are what we usually think of as calories... Although that still wouldn't be right, would it? You can't have only used 28 calories!!! 😂

Thanks for all the kind comments. Strava is usually ok for me - I’ve used it for cycling- I think it must just be a glitch.
