Interval training

Sunday seems to have become my Interval Training day, so off to the hill I went this morning with all three dogs.

Quite a few other dog walkers had beaten us to it, so my first fast interval was delayed by some doggy interaction that needed my attention before I could pick up my feet and go, Go, GO.

I stuck to the flattish bit that I ran my Spring Speed Challenge on, and let the dogs amuse themselves looking for rabbits in the bushes, as I shuttled to and fro when the app bingly-beep shouted at me (rather than go from one finger post to the next).

It’s amazing what a difference even a slight downhill gradient makes to my speed/pace 🤣

I then dumped the dogs indoors, before fetching the grandsprocket and taking him to Junior Parkrun, where we had a nice trot round before going in the playground for a bit, and then heading to the café for our (fast becoming) traditional ice cream and chocolate milk for him, and bacon and eggs with a cuppa, for me.

Just enjoy yourselves. And no adults in the finishing funnel 😀
