Creating muscle???

I’m on week 8, many people have asked if I feel better for it.... I think I feel less lethargic. I started slimming world 3 weeks ago ( I want to lose 2 stone) but despite being good with food and the exercise I’ve only lost 6 lb in 3 weeks 😕. Do you build muscle even if you’re only jogging?

You may build some muscle as you continue with the longer runs . Also 6lbs in 3 weeks is great the recommended weight loss is 1-2 lbs per week doing it this way will help keep weight off good luck 😊

Great steady sustainable weight loss... losing it faster than that makes it so much harder to maintain after you hit your goal weight.

Yes, you are developing muscle, although this may be hidden by the weight you’re looking to shed... I do plenty of core work, maybe I have great abs, can’t see them yet though 🤣.

You’re doing great, enjoy closing this journey out.

Loving the idea of the great, still hidden abs 😂. I just started some NHS Strength & Flex and the image you made of the super concealed abs seeing the light of day finally will inspire me 😁👍

Try taking some measurements, they can be a better indicator when you’re gaining muscle. I’m about to start week 8. Similar weight loss to you and have lost 6 cm round my waist.
