So I just did week 4 run 2, I have seen a massive difference in my fitness in such a short time, some people have told me I’m looking well and that I’ve lost weight, and, I have found a previously unknown hole on my belt 😀 however, I just got on the scales and I’ve actually put weight on!!! Ok so there may have been the odd junk food slip on rest days but how is that even possible?? 😫😫😫

Firstly well done! I think, it’s true the saying of muscle weighs more than fat and my body is definitely a different shape losing weight doing this exercise than when I’ve just lost weight from dieting in the past. I had considerable weight to lose though.

Someone suggested to me recently to stop standing on my scales (when I’d lost no weight for 3 weeks) and to use a tape measure instead . If you are someone who doesn’t particularly need to lose weight, it would make sense that you’ve actually gained weight as you’ve gained muscle mass.

Thanks Zippy I could always do with loosing a bit of weight but the extra hole in the belt is a bonus 🤪

Muscle is denser than fat, thus weighs more....so I would suggest you are converting fat into muscle....keep up the good work. Ps a few “treats” are aloud! 🤫
