It’s not just me running

Hey all,

First rain run this morning (wasn’t as slippery as I thought it would be!)

I’ve noticed that whilst I’m running my nose does too, does anyone else have this problem. I’ve got to take tissue with me on my run otherwise it would be most embarrassing!

Week 4 complete xx

Thanks

L

I pop a tissue up my sleeve every time I set out! Well done completing week four - happy running!

Well done running in the rain. Some people like it - if prefer just the clouds. Sun gets in my eyes.

For me it’s my eyes that run. I feel like they’re constantly streaming. Looks like I’m crying 😢.

I have had that for sometime and it had got worse so I had it checked by an optician and was told it was not enough oil layer in my eyes.

Use a warm eye mask daily take flax seed oil and put eye drops in .

I have done all of these things with a little improvement but I’ve found that if I use optrex eye spray for watery and itchy eyes it really helps.

Ooo, ok. I thought it was just because morning and possibly a bit of a breeze. I may get the eye spray and put in before running as does affect me at any other time. Thanks

Well done you.. and rain..it's just wet. We learn to embrace it..like the cold and the wind :)

A small tissue tucked into your leggings...and some folk on here, who shall remain nameless use their Buffs !

Yes absolutely! Less now than in cold winter weather. Tucked down my bra crop top!

Well done! I love running in the rain and my nose is the same! I always have a tissue!

If my nose runs it happens whilst walking or cycling too towards the end - why is that? I wondered if it was something to do with both mild hayfever and asthma (my exercise pal also has mild asthma and she also carries a tissue) but as none of you has mentioned them I guess it’s ‘runners nose’?? x
