I have just ran W8R1 in the wind π¨ only problems I had running against the wind then 3-4mins into my run I had trapped wind and it took till near the end of my run to go but I think the running got rid of it apart from that it was a good run the extra 3mins wasnβt a problem and I could have carried on πππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ

Great run for you today Kev, you beat the wind, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 8, just hope the wind will die down before you run it. π π
Yes letβs hope Alan just from the feel of this week week 9 is going to be a breeze then Iβm doing a park run then Iβm going to train for 10k. Today though another runner went past me and it made me look like I was going really slow compared to him but he probably has been running for years Iβm just going at my pace πππ»ββοΈππ»ββοΈ
Yes, when I am running other runners pass me, unlike when I was cycling, I passed more cyclists than cyclists passed me, with running its the other way around, however, once when I was out a walk, I passed two runners, they were in running mode but running at around 55 minutes 5K pace, I was walking in around 51 minutes pace, I now know what people mean here on C25K when they report that someone walking a dog has passed them while running, all of them will improve their pace after they graduate, as you say, those runners who passed you will have been running for years.
I'm so glad it is over for you now. Get ready for the next run! W8R2
