Have you read the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and followed the links to articles about speeding up?

The majority of recreational runners, apparently, spend not enough time (75-80%) at an easy conversational pace, nor do they push hard enough for the remainder, when doing intervals or fartlek.

In my opinion, getting more miles on your legs builds stamina, strength and endurance and combined with patience you will find that pace naturally increases.
