Still running by the light of the silvery moon, and as I went out this morning I still cannot believe that I have actually graduated! I’m still away from home, so as the weather is getting warmer and warmer I have to go early. As I pass by , the walls around the gardens of these villas are still radiating heat like enormous storage radiators. Lovely scents of lemon, orange and a coconut smell like you get from the yellow gorse at home. I can get the scent of the laundry hanging out on washing lines, and the smell of the chickens that someone in the village keeps in their yard. I don’t think I’ll be getting the lemon and orange scents next week when I’m back on the west coast with faithful spaniel. Past that bakery, don’t breathe in keep going don’t stop!
I think I must be on auto pilot as here I am at the start of the looong slooow hill that leads back to the villa. I hate this hill, but I have to get up it, 4 tops today it’s the same old song, great Tamla Motown trotting for me, well the snail trot which is my preferred running pace. Oh I ve reached the top touch the wall and it’s all down hill from here.
66 in Lycra , cruising down the hill, life is great today!
Happy running to all.
