Just completed week 3 run 1 and I have ran for 3 whole minutes together πŸ₯³ it was daunting to go from 90 seconds to double that time but I did it and I’m proud 😁 can’t wait to crack on and be able to just run and run and run πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

You actually ran for exactly the same time in Week 3 as you did in Week 2, but there is less brisk walking.

Enjoy your journey

I’m new to here and just about to start the same week. I love how it’s all broken down into short runs with breaks between; gives me a chance to get ready for the next run. :)

I did this run today as well! Was apprehensive but I managed it too 😁

Well done you! I always felt a bit daunted at the start of each new week but some good advice on here was to just trust the programme, it's been designed to gradually increase your stamina so that you can physically cope with each new week. My mind just took a while to catch up with the programme but eventually that niggling doubt faded and I felt more and more confident about each run. Good luck and keep posting on here, the forum is an amazing support.

I'm with you- I've just completed w3r2 and was also daunted by running double, but it was great! W3r1 was harder as I had my 2 dogs with me and one of them can't settle into my pace! But the second run was fab, I've found it quite easy so far but today I definitely felt it.
