Ok. W4 r1, wow those extra 2 mins are challenging. But I did it. Running overall 16 minutes, am so proud of myself. Yes legs ache, but no pain no gain lol. Day off tomorrow, will attempt again Wednesday. 🏃‍♀️😀

Well done you.

Not too much of a challenge, you did it!

Week 4 was where I feel in love with the program. A turning point.

Be sure to drink plenty of water on your rest days to help with your aching legs.

Well done to you Newrunner52 on completing run 1 or week 4, running 16 minutes you should be very proud of yourself, give your aching legs a rest for at least one day, if not two, no hurry, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 4.

Begin to up your rest day exercise as the runs get longer.. plenty of strength and stamina exercise will pay dividends as the running legs get stronger.

Make sure you warm up well and stretch really well too..then take the run very slowly and steadily... aches and pains are expected at the beginning, but never run through pain:)
