Fat 50 and unfit!

Well done 💕 the hardest part for me was always finding the motivation. Now you’ve done the first one you’ll absolutely ace the next 😊 good luck!

Well blinking done and welcome to the club! Slow and steady. No rush in running. It’s not a race. 💐
Fantastic! Welcome to C25K 😊. I'm also 50 later this year and have set myself a '5K by 50' goal. There's a wealth of help, encouragement and advice on here for novice runners. Take your time, find a steady slow pace, make sure you do the stretches after each run and drink plenty water. Happy running!

Welcome. It’s important to choose the right time to start... that’s my excuse, I looked at a running app for a year before I started... and that run nearly killed me too 🤣
Great job... enjoy getting back out there on Saturday.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Enjoy your journey

Well done on starting this, you won’t regret it. Just stick to the plan and you will be fine. 😁

Well done on getting started, it does get easier!

Well done - I'm finishing Week 8 tomorrow, and I can honestly say that Week 1, Run 1 has been the hardest part for me. Trust the programme - much to my amazement, it really works! - and just keep it slow and steady. Keep checking in here and let us know how it goes.

Well done. You have done the hardest part! The people on here will support you massively on the hard days and will celebrate with you every step of the way. I found W1R1 hard too but just started week 7 and it’s going well. Trust the programme- people can’t tell you that enough.
