I am 5 weeks out from graduating and have been keeping pretty much to 3 x 30 min runs per week. I have tried increasing my pace with various success some days ok some days not so easy. However it’s been 1 week since I ran last until tonight. First twenty minutes seemed like normal warmed up got into a rhythm and then entered the last ten minutes and suddenly it seemed easy I had a regular pace and felt I could run longer so I did an additional 8 minutes and I even increased the pace for the last 5 minutes without any problem it felt great!!!

Great run right there. Sounds like you’re about ready for your next running plan to me. You can’t beat pushing at the end of a run and still having some left.

I did the pushing mid run and it just didnt work for me today...think you have a much more sensible plan of pushing yourself towards the end and I will try that Friday.

Yes to be honest I didn’t feel like pushing until I got past 20mins then it felt good so I continued then pushed an extra 5 mins

Sounds fabulous..... I'm so glad someone had a good day today - I fell down flat on my face... banged up my knees.... but got up and carried on! One day I hope to write a nice post like yours .... keep up the good work!
