Canβt believe how much difference these lovely little beasties have made π so comfortable! Thighs and calves feeling it but my feet were in heaven π
Little bit in love π with shoes!: Canβt believe... - Couch to 5K
Little bit in love π with shoes!
Verryyy loverly π. New shoes making happy feet has gotta be good. Happy running
And we love us some shoe porn! Thanks for posting.
Canβt beat running in the right shoe... youβll have many happy miles in them.
Ooooh I love them, fab colours. Iβm running in orange and black Brooks, maybe time to fit new as they say!
I canβt believe I am turning into a person who talks about trainers(!!) but I have been listening to a podcast which might be interesting to anyone else who is excited by trainers! The Physical Performance Show, episode 153. All about trainers. To be fair there is a lot of quite dull waffle but also some interesting stuff.
I'm using trainers that are about 15 years old! Maybe I should reward myself with a new pair
I really like those Coco; what brand are they?
Excellent! Good for you. If theyβre the Glycerin ones.....I got them as a week 8 treat (and a commitment to keep running!) to replace ancient rubbish trainers and theyβre like little cushions for the feet ππ
I love my hokka running shoes. The rugby shoes for your feet make all the difference.
I used to be all-black dresser but since I started running, I am all for vibrant colors. Since my shoes are like 2years old now and were meant for light jogging only I will propbably upgrade after the rains are done. I have my eyes on nice red ones meant for road running.
Enjoy your runs!
Iβm quite reserved in my colours at the moment, I think being fairly new to it Iβm hoping no one notices me ππ maybe once Iβm graduated and up to speed I might break out a bit of colour πππ½ββοΈ ππ»
Shed these inhibitions. Do you notice everyone you see once you are on the road? It is just a state of mind that someone is watching. Experiment a little with colors. I do not suggest to be a peafowl-y dressed but a bright colored tshirt with a dark shorts/ trainers wont hurt. If it makes me feel happy and no one is disturbed, it is all good π
Have fun while you run.
I fear my running disturbs a few! ππ
I think at first we do try to be a bit inconspicuous..but Iβm definitely changing my ways, I started out in black leggings, black trainers and a burgundy climbing top π
Ah, so you are the weapon of mass distraction. Haha.
If you are a new runner you will worry about what people will think but once you reach the higher weeks you will be too worried about your laboured breathing that you wont notice anyone. JK. Whatever makes you comfortable should be good. Just ensure that you are safe (traffic should be able to see you) if you run outdoors. Do update when you start with bright colors.
Happy running.
I got some asics Gel 9 and they were like walking on a Hilton bed when I got them. I got another pair Gel 8 I think which do not seem as soft. The older ones (Gel 9) I use for gym and treadmill and reserve the 8's for the road work. I may try some brooks for my next pair. I think they all loose their bounce after a while.
I'm also the proud owner of some new Brooks, they had their second outing this morning, lovely to run in, I'm very pleased with them
Couldn't agree more! π I treated myself to some ridiculously expensive Hoka running shoes to help with gait and ankle pain. They make my feet look enormous, but I don't care. My feet love them and my achey knees are a thing of the past! π
You canβt really put a price on comfort. Itβs the same with my Mountain boots, I started with a cheap pair of Karrimors then upgraded to a slightly more expensive pair of Trespass then went all out for a lovely pair of Scarpas..the difference is huge after a 15k hill walk/mountain climb π no more taking days for my feet to recover ππ»
Ohhhh my! Those really are something to behold!!
Happy new shoes! πππππ
