Tight calf muscles

Just completed parkrun I’m around 32 mins, when I finished my muscles if I call them that were so tight and cramped.... I’m running since last October , usually 3-4 runs per week. Take rest days most of the time why am I feeling this now is it because I might actually have muscles that can tighten 🤪

Same here... graduated 4/5 weeks ago.. been running 3/4 times a week for 35 mins.. this morning I'm getting knee pains and tight calfs... thought it would get easier the more I did... well done on keeping going after graduation..

Thanks I’m mostly enjoying it , feel good have lost weight and improving have even entered a few 5ks , initially my knees hurt but got better runners , just the calf’s now I do stretches after each run , was ok when running it’s afterwards

Maybe check out the advice on the FAQ post..especially on rest days and stretching exercises..
