I just wanted to say hi! I am on week 6 of C25K, I’m just about to go for my first run this week
I am a type 1 diabetic, so hello to any other t1d’s out there!
When I started running 8 weeks ago (I had a week off due to illness and repeated a week twice!) I couldn’t even run for 60 seconds, and now I actively look forward to my workout! What has happened to me?! 😂 I do my running in the gym on a treadmill at the moment, but once I complete week 9, I’m going to start outside, and I may have to go back a few weeks to achieve this - has anyone else done it this way?
Good luck to everyone who’s running today! You’ve got this!

Well done for getting out there, we have had quite a few people doing what you are doing and have had a lot of success with it. Take it nice and slow on your first run outside maybe start somewhere like week 3 or 4 so you have some intervals to help you get into the stride of things. If you find that ok then do wk5 Run 3 next and see how that feels. Take it completely on how confident you feel, you can run the distance you just need a bit of time to transition. Good luck.
