Week 2 🤦🏽‍♀️

Started the 5k for the mental benefits more than the physical benefits and I’m really enjoying myself, but the second week I felt I didn’t run as good as the first! I’m unsure do I keep going or re do week 2 I didn’t run for the full time and my brisk walk was slower I thought. I didn’t reach my usual point as well 🤦🏽‍♀️ Any suggestions with the 5k and my Week 2 issue are all greatly appreciated ☺️

If you found it a struggle maybe redo a run or see how you fair, it’s more about how you feel in yourself. I’m on my 3rd attempt at C25K as I keep getting injured so I feel you! I repeated run 2 on week5 today as I couldn’t get the app to work and thought at least I’m doing something 😊

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5... and includes advice on pacing.

If you fully complete a run, move on. If not, have a rest day then repeat. You will not get faster week on week because you need to pace yourself for increased duration.

Enjoy your journey
