Happily trekking up the hill from my house on the warm up when suddenly it started to pour with rain. My first thought was to turn around and start again later but as I was already soaked gritted my teeth and put my best running foot forward!
So pleased I did and now feeling like a real runner! Only one run left to complete the course....
Well done for not turning around, 1 more to go!!

A very good age there, PR! I started a year ago just after my 60th birthday, never had myself down as a runner either. So glad I started, I love it now (sort of)
