Well you've come to the right place, c25k is an amazing plan. I had never run before like a lot of people on here . Just follow the plan in each run and remember to go slow . 😊

Hi! Welcome to C25K and the forum! Follow the plan, run slow, stay hydrated and enjoy! There’s loads of support and advice here on the forum and no such thing as a silly question. Well done on taking the first step, that’s the biggie. Have fun!

Been a bit slow on saying hi in the forum.. currently on wk7 run 2 it's going good.. surprisingly. Just need to try enjoy it more rather than think how much time I've got left

Hi Kj - I’ve found embracing the slow running by following the Japanese slow jogging technique - m.youtube.com/watch?v=9L2b2... really helped me enjoy the running itself (and not just the relief that I’d done it & it was over). I’m feeling all the benefits of running, but love that I’ve found a way to really love the running in the moment. I’ve also switched from music to more podcasts since graduation (well a good 6 weeks after as I redid the graduation run a lot for the timings and encouragement!), the podcasts help me to get lost in my running too. In terms of weight loss, I’ve lost nearly a stone, but many many inches - 4 1/2 inches from my waist - feel toned and strong, the feeling of strength feels wonderful. I’ve loads more stamina for all sorts of other activities in my life too. Stick at it and go slow of that helps you. Good luck with your next few weeks - you’re so close now!

Hi Kat! Welcome to C25K! I have not once regretted my decision to do C25K. I also did it to lose weight and am on Week 9 now and lost about half a stone. They say though that it’s more inches you lose and that’s true too. Don’t go to fast. Stick with it and you won’t regret it! Best of luck! 🏃‍♀️

Yeah I've lost 21lbs so far with s.w.. seem to be stuck on that though but have measured and losing inches which I'm happy with.. just need to loose some off me butt ha ha .. I'm very positive about this app. Not felt like that with any other app :-)
