Jogging as Therapy

That’s what I’m doing at the moment. Not looking for sympathy just wanted to let anyone going thru a bad time to lace up and get out there.....it really will help. My Mum in law passed away 2 weeks ago after a long illness then last week my wonderful brother in law passed away suddenly and unexpectedly..... and just for good measure cat went too. So to keep me sane I’ve jogged and jogged and jogged and after every jog I feel a little better and my head is now getting itself around the last few weeks Getting out there no matter how slow seeing this wonderful world we live in, especially with this glorious weather, is a privilege denied to many.

Sorry for your loses over the last two weeks, deepest sympathy, however, I see that you have had some help with your jogging, yes, running can help you in some stressful situations. I just hope that helps you over the next few weeks.

You've been through very tough times and I admire your attitude. But you're right, running is a brilliant way to soothe the soul. I hope you have some peace in the days to come.

Hear hear!

So sorry to hear of your loss - one of those things would be bad enough but three in close succession is terrible! Glad you have found some small comfort in running. The world is most definitely a wonderful place... confusing, confounding, contradictory and sometimes just a con... but wonderful all the same.

Thinking of you.
