At last ... 5k!!

Graduated at the end of March and been doing W9 runs mainly as consolidation. Tried the Bridge to 10k podcast but haven't yet managed to finish it. Did my first parkrun two weeks ago and had to walk three times but did the parkrun again today and finally managed 5k without stopping or walking!! Feeling really chuffed as my family were there to witness (and unfortunately video!!) it. It feels as though I have really broken a psychological barrier and that I can progress on from C25K. Thanks as usual to all the advice and encouragement from all on the forum.

Congratulations to you timlesvagues on running NON STOP in front of your family videoing it, in that video you will see yourself RUNNING, not walking, so I don't see why you need to use the word unfortunately, well done. 😊 🏃 Onwards and upwards to 10K podcasts.
