So last week I was really struggling with Wk8R3 - I tried it 3 times and each time I walked at some point - even though I'd done it without walking twice before. Today I decided to move on to Wk9r1 after getting lots of great advice and support from all of you lovely lot. And ...

I did it! I went super slow after convincing myself that as it was so hot it would be fine to walk it if it got too hard - but I didn't need to! I'd obviously been starting off too fast in previous runs as id reached halfway today without even really realising it. I even managed to speed up (slightly) for the last ten minutes.

If anyone else is struggling, my advice, for what it's worth, is get on here and ask for help - it really can be as simple as changing speed or route and in my case it was a case of mind over matter.

Thanks all!

Congratulations on running for a full half hour, you probably did run a little too fast for the 3/28 minute runs of week 8, onwards and upwards to runs 2 and 3 of week 9, not long now until you graduate.
