Missing the aching muscles and stretchy Lycra 😂

Not run again for sometime due to injury. It kind of sucks but I don’t want to cause my self more injury. I’m jealous when I see people running and hear all their great stories on here. 😎. I’m doing stretches twice a day. Still possibly fancy yoga but would need to squeeze it in to an already hectic schedule!

I’m toying with the idea of cycling for a bit to build strength but also giving my legs a less high impact workout.

I miss the feeling you get when your run is done. It’s a sort of warm/ tired buzz. A happy buzz.

Great for the mental health in my opinion.

I’d just got new running gear when I injured my knee so that does suck!

I’m looking forward to getting that Lycra back on and getting my feet on the ground. 👍😂

Nice to hear from you Dave ! Any idea when you can get back out running ? Yoga is not getting any easier by the way but haven’t dislocated anything so that’s a bonus 😂 hope you can get out again soon 🏃‍♂️

Yeah. Nice to hear from you too!! I bet you must be a proper “yogi” now? I believe that’s right? 😊 always good that you haven’t dislocated anything 😂 are you noticing any improvements?

End up of the month the physio said. Still get a few aches from my knee.

Just going to ease back in to it at the end of the month I reckon.

So the “Yogi” is still creaking/cracking whilst doing the moves so whether it’s working is beyond me 😂 I have noticed that I don’t ache so much and especially my lower back but that’s just core strength increasing and less cake helps too. Not long to wait until you get get going (only few more weeks)

Have you thought about doing Miles for Mind in May if your able to ? I know few people on here doing it and you can choose your distance. Have a look at one of my previous posts if you fancy it, plus you get bling at the end 🥇

Oh your getting there! You will be able to bend over backwards soon! 😊. I’ve heard of it. Not looked in to it. I think I shall have a look. Of course bling is alway a winner 😎😎

😂😭 I tried one of hers a while ago. I was almost sick!! It’s like she’s made of jelly!! Which ones of hers have you tried?

😂wow so quite a few then! Yeah. Breathe!! I guess we would be in trouble if we didn’t do that! 😂. Would you try a class?

I’ve done Pilates classes which is very similar....just gets expensive. Only thing with You Tube you can turn it off and put the kettle on ☕️ 😊

Just wear your lycra anyway 😁 I wear my under armour running leggings round the house as they are sooo comfy

😂 absolutely! I’m a runner even when not running so shall wear them with pride 😊 I know some people say why do people wear leggings extra all the time. But the truth is they are super comfy. I found that when I went from shorts (cold legs) to proper leggings (wonderful 👍)
